Today was an Eli and mommy day! Daddy started his new job today and it was also mommy’s first day of spring break. After Daddy left we got ready and headed out to have Donut Day. Then we had a few stops to make before we could head home. Mommy had to pick up a new pair of pjs for her hospital trip tomorrow and a few other things. We went to Target and Borders. Eli’s sunburn was quite bad and he was very irritable. He was sorta Dr. Jekel Mr. Hyde thing going on. One second he would be fine the next, not so much. We got done at Target and then spent some time at Borders. Eli played in the children’s section… with his favorite books (the books that have wheels.) There are tractors, cars, firetrucks, ambulances, and race cars. We put them all away and headed home. Eli and I watched Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 2 and then Eli took a little nap before daddy got home. It was a nice low pressure day. I love those days with Eli. Have you ever noticed how beautiful a sleeping child is?
